304A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dnThe Raceday Stewards informed Kevin Thomas Coleman, trainer, that Gemical would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed the closing stages of this race where it appeared R P Whelan took a precautionary check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
304B Muckross Lake Median Auction M'dnThe Raceday Stewards granted a request from H D McGuigan, trainer, of Petrol Head for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with Rule 90(i).
S Foley, rider of Radient Man, trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned a little left in the straight.
304C Lough Leane H'capThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Ribee, ridden by W Joyce, placed third, and Justenzia, ridden by J.M. Sheridan placed fourth where it appeared that Ribee crossed Justenzia. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J M Sheridan stated that he shifted out and felt that Ribee was clear of him. W Joyce stated that he was clear when drifting across. Having heard the evidence and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
D P McDonogh, rider of Obscenity, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left up the straight.
304D Ross Castle H'capP McGettigan, rider of Vierson, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried left up the straight.
J A Heffernan, rider of Super Exceed, trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted a little right under pressure.
K J Leonard, rider of Draiocht, trained by T.J. O'Mara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.
R P Cleary, rider of Lady Delila, trained by C.P.Donoghue, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right from the stalls.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Vierson, ridden by P McGettigan, placed fifth, and Draiocht, ridden by K J Leonard, placed first, where it appeared Vierson had to switch out. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P McGettigan stated that Draiocht was clear when he switched. K J Leonard stated that his mount hung left and was satisfied that he was clear of Vierson. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
304E Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dnThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident early in the straight involving Alexa Next, ridden by M W Hassett, placed fourth, and Marazion, ridden by S Foley, placed third, where it appeared they came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
S Foley, rider of Marazion, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got unbalanced at both bends.
304F Killarney Apprentice H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tilani, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
J Pietropaolo, rider of Blue Moon Boy, trained by Andrew Kinirons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.
304G Killarney Races Final Farewell M'dnThe Raceday Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that S Coen, rider of Radar Ahead (GB), weighed in at 1.5 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who stated that he had a drink after weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied S Coen was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his clean record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.
S Coen, rider of Radar Ahead (GB), trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran freely.
